Measure with a photo

Will it fit the yard you have?

A small toddler slide clears the gate. A 27-foot hyper gets discussed over the fence. Most yards in this metro are one of those stories, or something in between.

Small gate, small pad

Side gates in Buda, Kyle, and a lot of new Hutto or Manor fences will take a toddler slide and often a slip. They will not take every tall unit. Start with the Lil Kahuna or a dual-lane slip-and-slide.

Long grass, low sky

A straight run of flat grass wants length, not a tower. Surf The Wave is 35 feet in the name. The 33-foot Wild Wave slip is the same idea. The hose has to reach the far end.

Sky, and a real approach

Fire'n Ice is about 34 by 17 feet and 20 feet tall, with a setup area about 40 by 20 and 25 feet of overhead. Blazing Tides is about 22 feet. The 27-foot Tropical Hyper needs a call on tight drives.

The setup list that does not change

  • Flat ground. A slope toward the fence is a no. A deck edge is a no.
  • Overhead clear of branches, eaves, and lines.
  • A garden hose that reaches the spot. We connect the line. You run the water.
  • A standard outdoor outlet within about 100 feet. We bring the cord.
  • Grass preferred. Concrete is possible with the right protection. Call first.
  • Parks with water and no outlet: ask about the solar generator on (512) 765-6071.

What to text

One photo of the gate, one of the outlet, one of the patch of ground you think is flat. That is faster than a tape measure remembered from last spring. West Lake, Tarrytown, Clarksville, Lakeway, and Bee Cave should send those photos before falling for a tall unit. The service area notes say the same thing in local terms.

Full size and outlet count for any unit we have not measured on this page live on the reservation page. Open the wet list and use “Check this date” on the unit that matches the photo, not the unit that matches the group chat.
